Schedule 1 — Perpetual License Terms

Part of the Alefbits Master EULA (Software Products). Applies to all …-P part numbers.

1. Grant

A perpetual license is granted for the specific major/minor versions of the Software released on or before the Licensee's M&S end date, without time limit, in the license model (NL) and quantity stated on the Order Form.

2. Version eligibility

2.1 The first year of M&S is mandatory and is quoted as a separate line item (…-MS) with every perpetual sale.

2.2 While M&S is active, Licensee may deploy every version released during the M&S period. When M&S lapses, the perpetual right to the last eligible version survives indefinitely — the Software keeps working; Licensee simply loses access to newer versions, updates and support.

2.3 Lapsed M&S may be reinstated per Schedule 3 §4 (gap payment).

3. No refunds on conversion

A perpetual license may be credited toward a subscription conversion only by express written agreement.

4. License file semantics

Perpetual feature lines carry no expiry; a separate date field encodes the M&S end date for version-eligibility enforcement by the license manager.
